MIRFIELD Town maintained their 100 per cent Championship record as visiting St John Fisher Reserves were hammered 12-0.

Chris Meeson bagged a hat-trick for Mirfield supported by doubles from Kyle Douglas and Gibril Bojang plus strikes from Oliver Rounding, Tom Hague, Adam Brown, Tom Wilks and Michael Rounding.

Mount Pleasant are level on points at the top but have played a game more following a 5-2 win at Barr Street. Adam Rawat and Faisal Adam hit doubles for Mount with Faheem Mira also netting. Jiten Patel and Dwayne Wilkinson replied for Barr Street.

Woodkirk Valley lie third after edging out Birstall St Patrick’s 3-2. Matthew Moon, Danny Barton and an own goal accounted for Woodkirk’s tally, with Declan Dawson and Graham Fahy replying for Birstall. Heckmondwike Sports Club are fourth after James Reily scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win over bottom side Hartshead.

Birkenshaw lead the Premier Division on goal difference after goals from Andrew Wood, Jonjo Keogh and Joel Farrar saw them win 3-0 against Millbridge WMC who drop to fourth place.

Thornhill Lees lie second after demolishing Woodman Batley Carr 9-2. Scott Hargreaves hit a hat-trick and Nathan Kemp a brace with strikes from Joel Clegg, Lee Ryan, Robert Evans and Nicki Croisdale completing the rout.

St John Fisher lie third after maintaining their perfect start with a 3-1 win over Overthorpe Sports Club. Fisher’s Rob Hiscox opened the scoring from the penalty spot but Steve Jordan’s spot kick equalised almost immediately. A late Jordan Pugh strike plus an own goal settled the tie.

AFC Chickenley earned their first points of the season as they drew 3-3 with Oakwell Motel. Shaun McDaid, with a brace, and Michael Chadwick netted for Chickenley, with Oakwell replying through Johnny Beverley, Patrick Davies and an own goal.

Bay Horse East Ardsley lead Division One on goal difference after they won 6-0 at The Yorkshireman. Joe Hill led the way with four goals, supported by strikes from Robert Vickers and Steve Day.

Ravenswharfe are second, and have yet to drop a point this season, after doubles from Sam Hewitt and Lee Poskitt, plus a Danny Craven strike, saw them win 5-2 against Battyeford Reserves for whom Jon MacDonald and Nigel Saddington netted.

Town Rangers are third following a 3-3 draw at Deighton WMC while Dewsbury Westside won 4-3 against Overthorpe Sports Club Reserves, who had Tom Hirst, Danny Marshal and Tom Thorpe on target.

And Birkenshaw Reserves had two-goal Nathan Foster, Joel Pollard and Tom Smith on the scoresheet as they won 4-2 at winless Punch Bowl whose Nathan Clarke and Josh Wood struck.

In Division Two, FC Liversedge lead by two points after beating St Ignatius 4-3. Mark Wigley, Ricky Naylor, Danny Stocks and Lee McKeown all netted for Liversedge, with St Ignatius replying through Bunn Darboe, Sam Duffy and Michael Thompson.

Scholes Athletic lie second after they won 7-5 at Cobras. Gareth Jones led the way with four goals with Kieran Armitage hitting a brace and David Blackburn completed Scholes’ account. Cobras replied through Tom Hartley with a brace, Brandon Yates, Bradley Geater and Josh Sheldrake. Jordan Lewis hit both goals as third place Clifton Rangers Reserves won 2-1 at Batley Celtics while Hanging Heaton Cricket Club hammered bottom side Snowdon 9-3 led by a four-goal haul from Dave Hall.
