There is no shortage of players at Molineux who should class as key men but Wolves’ squad have been collectively woeful.

Frenchman Bakary Sako stands out as a pivotal figure, however, having scored seven league goals and contributed nine assists during a season which could yet end in relegation.

To put that into context, the midfielder has had a hand in almost half of Wolves’ Championship finishes.
