Key Battle - Danny Batth v Chris Wood

Wolves’ skipper against a striker who is carrying Leeds with his goals this season. Wood’s tally has been helped by penalties and the odd tap-in but his finish against Wigan was fantastic and his all-round contribution is getting better and better. He has to make an impact at Molineux but Batth, a local boy and a Wolves player since the age of 10, is no pushover.

Key Man - Helder Costa

Wolves tapped into the Portuguese market after their summer takeover and Costa, a 22-year-old winger, was one of the players who arrived from Benfica. Good things are being said about him in Wolverhampton and he is carrying as much threat as anyone in Walter Zenga’s squad. Charlie Taylor has the pleasure of squaring up to him tomorrow.

Phil Hay’s view: “At points of this season it looked like Wolves might have plenty about them but they are a point behind Leeds in the table and just as susceptible to frustrating results. At present they are without a win in four games and there is nothing for Leeds to fear in this fixture. Go to Molineux and play well and United will come away with a result.”
