With several areas of Garry Monk’s squad still ripe for new additions, we look at ten free agents that could spark the interest of Leeds United in the coming weeks.

Joey O’Brien

The Irishman is an adaptable performer who has operated across defence and midfield for West Ham at the highest level in recent seasons.

Kieron Richardson

Richardson didn’t exactly cover himself in glory in Aston Villa’s nightmare relegation season but still has one of the best left pegs on the circuit.

Victor Anichebe

Sunderland are already reported to be sniffing around the striker, who would bring pace and power to any forward line

Chris Burke

Burke was last seen in South Yorkshire at Rotherham United and at the age of 32 remains a proven campaigner in the second tier, as well as a superb crosser of the ball

Diego Poyet

The 21 year-old midfielder, jettisoned by West Ham on deadline day, was Charlton’s Player of the Year in his last season in the Championship and is an adept distributor keen for a new challenge.

Ryan Taylor

Dead-ball specialist Taylor left Hull City in June and has played in friendlies since but is still available on a permanent basis.

Nigel Reo-Coker

The midfielder took the plunge and moved to the MLS last year; his move to Montreal Impact didn’t work out which paves the way for a return to English football.

Stephane Sessegnon

The mercurial attacking midfielder was released from West Brom alongside Anichebe but would represent a riskier option.

Dwight Tiendalli

The Dutch-Suriname defender had a trial with Championship side Birmingham City this summer and remains unattached

Junior Hoilett

Hoilett turned down a new contract from QPR over the summer and has attracted interest from Swansea of late; at 26, his best football could still be ahead of him.
