SECTIONS of Nottingham Forest fans can envisage an upturn in fortunes against Leeds United this weekend - though judging by social media Saturday’s hosts are evidently not exactly flying themselves.

Forest sit ninth in the table - just five points off the play-offs - and Stuart Pearce’s men are odds on favourites to beat the travel sick Whites who have lost seven out of ten away from home.

Forest themselves have only picked up two points from their last three games but they have a decent record against Leeds having won their last two against the Whites at the City Ground.

Forest fan Alex Clarke ‏(@alexclarke881) Tweeted: “We usually show a bit of fight and passion against Leeds - we’ve been woeful in that department recently. Fingers crossed. #nffc”

Fellow Forest supporter Matt Ball (@matt290994) added: “ Leeds at home should be the easiest game of our season so far, they really are awful! #nffc”

Yet fellow Forest follower Nicky Long (‏@Nicky_Long) Tweeted: “Are any #NFFC fans actually happy with the performances at the minute? lack of shots and goals worries me greatly. Not playing well either.”

The match will certainly have an extra edge for Twitter user

Atomic Penny (‏@Penny_LUFC) - evidently a Whites follower who Tweeted: “Got a bet with a forest fan for match on saturday Whoever looses the bet... has to get their nipple peirced lol #nffc #lufc #bet.”
