FORMER Leeds United captain Jonathan Howson is in the mix to start against his boyhood club this evening.
The Morley-born midfielder, 26, who left United for Norwich in January 2012, was on the bench for the Canaries’ weekend defeat at Fulham, having recovered from a knee injury which has restricted his appearances this term.
Howson has started just two games in all competitions so far in 2014-15 after suffering medial knee ligament damage in a pre-season friendly against SC Bastia in late July.
Meanwhile, playmaker Wes Hoolahan is facing an extended spell on the sidelines after damaging his ankle ligaments over the weekend.
Canaries boss Neil Adams said that no timescale had yet been determined for the injury, but did confirm that the 32-year-old had undergone a scan after injuring himself in the 1-0 loss at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
Forward Kyle Lafferty and central defender Jos Hooiveld are fit for tonight’s game after both recovering from knee injuries.
