MATCH REPORT: Leeds United v Oldham Athletic

Two Luciano Becchio goals earned Leeds United a badly-needed victory over Oldham Athletic.

The striker scored twice in the second half at Elland Road to give Leeds a 2-0 win and improve their worrying League One form.

Leeds dominated the first half but, to Simon Grayson's frustration, could not force the breakthrough.

Oldham defender Reuben Hazell survived two penalty appeals against him, and Jermaine Beckford and Robert Snodgrass both went close with shots which flew past Dean Brill's goal.

Leeds continued to press at the start of the second half and they claimed a deserved lead when Becchio turned home the rebound from a Beckford shot.

He struck again with a header from Snodgrass' cross on 61 minutes, leaving Oldham with no way back.
