LEEDS UNITED were waiting for news on Northern Ireland international Stuart Dallas last night after the winger hobbled off injured on World Cup qualifying duty.
Dallas was launched into the air by a late and high tackle by Switzerland’s Fabian Schar in the fourth minute of Thursday night’s first leg qualifier at Windsor Park.
The 26-year-old dusted himself down to continue but the wide man was eventually substituted for Jamie Ward seven minutes after the break.
Leeds were waiting to learn the extent of any injury today with United returning to action in the Championship next Sunday at home to Garry Monk’s Middlesbrough.
Before that, Northern Ireland will take in the second leg of their World Cup qualifying play-off against Switzerland in Basle tomorrow tea-time.
