Check out our at-a-glance guide to Leeds United’s clash with Rotherham United at Elland Road.
Key FA Cup battle
Mirco Antenucci v Kirk Broadfoot: This would seem like an ideal opportunity to recall Antenucci after a long spell out of the team. The Italian arguably deserves more regular involvement than he is getting but the system that Leeds are employing leaves no obvious room for him. If he’s sharp, on form and in the mood he could give Broadfoot all sorts of problems on Saturday.
Millers key man
Joe Newell: His header settled the meeting between the clubs in November and he’s been a big player for Rotherham recently, weighing in with three more goals and helping to keep Neil Redfearn’s side out of the Championship’s bottom three. Steve Evans – a former Millers boss – rates the 22-year-old midfielder as one of the biggest talents at Rotherham
Saturday, November 21, 2015: Leeds United 0 Rotherham United 1. Goals: Rotherham – Newell 54.
Phil Hay says: Impossible to call. Rotherham can’t make this game a priority and Evans has given very strong hints that the team he puts out will be weakened or heavily changed. Leeds suffered a narrow defeat to Rotherham at Elland Road in the Championship in November but wasted numerous chances in that game and the Millers have lost 16 times this season. So, a place in the fourth round is there for the taking – if United want it.
Top odds: Home win – 19/20; draw – 13/5; away win – 7/2.
