Leeds United have doubts over the fitness of Luke Murphy, Rodolph Austin and Sam Byram ahead of Saturday’s derby against Doncaster Rovers.
But goalkeeper Paddy Kenny is fit again after recovering from the ankle injury which prompted United to sign Jack Butland on loan from Stoke City in February.
Butland came to Elland Road after Kenny played for two months with a problem sustained during Leeds’ 2-1 defeat at Nottingham Forest on December 29.
The England international has made seven appearances and conceded 17 goals.
United manager Brian McDermott is expected to retain Butland his starting line-up this weekend but he said: “Paddy would be ready for selection.”
Murphy and Austin are carrying minor injuries, however, and Byram is also working to prove his fitness after picking up a knock.
On loan Jimmy Kebe will be missing again with a hamstring strain but the on-loan Crystal Palace winger is continuing to work at Thorp Arch.
