Check out our at-a-glance guide to Leeds United’s clash with Derby County at Elland Road.
Key Battle - Liam Bridcutt v George Thorne
United’s win at Pride Park in August - long ago it seems now - was earned by Chris Wood’s 20-yard strike but the key to that result was the performance of United’s midfield. Thorne struggled to dominate that area of the pitch, especially in the first half, and Leeds flourished as a result. Will he or Bridcutt run the show this evening?
Key Man - Tom Ince
Ince’s career has never quite matched his talent or his reputation but he’s been a huge part of Derby’s progress this season and he’s one of several match-winners in Paul Clement’s squad. Only Martin is outscoring him at present and Ince’s seven goals have been supplemented by a couple of assists. The forward is a very obvious threat.

Leeds United 2 Derby County 0
Goals: Leeds - Antenucci 43, 50.
Phil Hay’s Verdict:
Leeds have a habit of turning the tables when the bookmakers lay heavy odds against them, as they did with Hull City at the start of this month, but Derby look like a machine. They’ve lost twice in 23 games, they’re in control of an automatic promotion spot and they’ll take some beating tonight. But Leeds can’t afford to sit back and dig in. They need a result.
Home win - 10/3
Draw - 27/11
Away win - 21/20
