HEAD COACH Garry Monk has made three changes to the Leeds United team for tonight’s Championship visit of Blackburn Rovers with striker Chris Wood dropped to the bench.

Misfiring Wood has been replaced by Pablo Hernandez as Monk switches to a likely 4-2-3-1 formation with Hernandez filling the no 10 role just behind Marcus Antonsson.

New signing from Bournemouth Eunan O’Kane also makes his Whites debut in midfield in place of Kalvin Phillips while Stuart Dallas returns to the side on the left wing, in place of Alex Mowatt.

Mowatt and Phillips both drop to the bench but Kemar Roofe fails to make the 18 altogether.

There had been suggestions that Roofe might be injured.

Rob Green also keeps his place in goal.

Pontus Jansson again partners Kyle Bartley at centre-back with Luke Ayling at right back and Charlie Taylor at left back.

Hadi Sacko starts on the right hand side of midfield with O’Kane playing alongside new captain Liam Bridcutt in centre midfield, just ahead of the back four.

There is also no place on the bench for young midfielder Ronaldo Vieira, with Phillips preferred.

Leeds United team v Blackburn Rovers: Green, Ayling, Jansson, Bartley, Taylor, Bridcutt, O’Kane, Hernandez, Dallas, Sacko, Antonsson. Subs: Silvestri, Coyle, Cooper, Phillips, Mowatt, Doukara, Wood.
