Leeds United's visit to Sheffield Wednesday has been rescheduled after being selected as a Sky Sports television match.

Leeds will now travel to Hillsborough for a lunchtime kick-off on Sunday, October 1 with the match kicking off at 12.15pm.

The match is the fourth of Leeds' early season matches to have been chosen for television, with their first three away trips on the box.

The Whites will kick off the season on the big screen at Bolton Wanderers on Sunday, August 6 before playing in front of the Sky cameras again 10 days later when travelling to Sunderland.

The visit to Nottingham Forest on Saturday, August 26 will also be televised.

Meanwhile, Leeds' clash against Wednesday's city rivals Sheffield United has been shifted to a lunchtime kick-off on Saturday, February 10 on advice from South Yorkshire Police.

The match will now kick-off at 12.15pm.
