Leeds United are the new leaders of the Championship after their dominant 2-0 win over Millwall at Elland Road on Sunday afternoon. The win extends the Whites' remarkable run of form in the Championship to 12 wins in 13 games and with eight games to go, they are now in pole position to win promotion back to the Premier League.
Wilfried Gnonto and Dan James bagged the goals for Daniel Farke's side against the Lions, but they weren't the only impressive performers on the day. Take a look at our player ratings from the game below.
7. Ilia Gruev - 7
Quietly went about his business, covered distance, made passes.
8. Wilfried Gnonto - 8
Took his goal brilliantly. Worked back well to defend on a number of occasions. Looked dangerous going forward. Kept himself in check after the early yellow. Baited Honeyman into a yellow.
9. Georginio Rutter - 8
Wasn't as tidy in possession as he can be and yet claimed the assists for both goals. Made the difference when it mattered.
10. Crysencio Summerville - 7
Worked hard, tried his best to make things happen but was frustrated again. Forced a fine save from Sarkic. Photo: Michael Regan
11. Patrick Bamford - 7
Led the line against a physical back line, pressed, harried and used his quality on the ball well at times but it was a mixed bag in possession. Photo: Matt McNulty
12. Daniel James (ON 69') - 8
Instantly gave Leeds a different kind of threat with his runs and pace in behind. Created a chance for Bamford, scored a goal, hit the post, took at least one dangerous free-kick. Photo: George Wood
