Leeds United fans will be without Boxing Day football this year after their game against Nottingham Forest was moved for broadcast, leaving the club with two games in two days as things stand.

The trip to the City Ground will now take place on Sunday, December 27 at 4.30pm and will be shown live on Sky Sports.

There is no word over what will happen to Leeds’s game against Derby County at Elland Road, which is set to take place on Monday, December 28 (3pm kick-off).

Leeds’s visit to Wolverhampton Wanderers has also been moved for Sky broadcast, and will now take place on Thursday, December 17 - two days later than originally scheduled.

The Whites are now due to entertain Preston at Elland Road just two days later, on Saturday, December 19.

It is the second year in a row that both of those fixtures have been broadcast by Sky.

The game between Wolves and Leeds last season was a seven goal thriller, with Wolves triumphing 4-3.

Leeds drew on their visit to Forest last season, with Billy Sharp scoring an equalising penalty.
