LEEDS UNITED’S trip to the Riverside Stadium to face Middlesbrough on February 21 will now shown live on Sky Sports.

The clash on Teesside, originally scheduled to kick off at 3pm, will now get underway at the earlier time of 12.15pm.

Leeds boast an impressive record at the Riverside and have only been beaten once in 12 visits there since the stadium opened in August 1995.

Last season’s game, also shown live, ended in a dour 0-0 stalemate in an encounter that marked the debut of loan keeper Jack Butland on February 22, 2014.

Back in 2012-13, United suffered their first defeat at Boro since August 1992 when a late goal from Curtis Main gave the Teessiders the spoils in a 1-0 verdict in February 2013.

Prior to that, Leeds had won on their previous three visits to the Riverside, with goals from Robert Snodgrass and Luciano Becchio giving them a polished 2-0 success in March 2012.

Earlier this season on August 16, Leeds took all three points with a late Billy Sharp goal following a Tomas Mejias error giving the hosts a 1-0 success over Aitor Karanka’s Boro, in what represented the only league win during the tenure of former head coach David Hockaday.
