Leeds United: Ercole Cellino leaves Elland Road board
Companies House announced today that the 26-year-old resigned as a United director on March 28, almost two years after joining the board in the aftermath of his father’s takeover.
Ercole courted controversy last month after using Nazi references to describe his haircut in a post on Instagram but his prior departure from the board will spare him from any attention from the Football Association.

Hide AdErcole’s brother Edoardo, who remains on the Leeds board, has just completed a three-match ban from all footballing activity, imposed by the FA over online posts in which he called a Leeds fan a “spastic” and a “moron”.
The resignation of Ercole leaves Massimo Cellino as one of six directors at Leeds.
Edoardo and Cellino’s American financial advisor Daniel Arty are joined by Salem Patel and Jinesh Patel, both representatives of minority shareholder GFH.
Italian Giampaolo Caboni was added to the board on behalf of Eleonora Sport Ltd while Cellino was serving a Football League ownership ban last year.
