Leeds United: Connolly joins Preston North End on loan

Have your say

Defender Paul Connolly has joined Preston North End on loan until April.

The 29-year-old was placed on the transfer list at the end of last season and hasn’t figured in Neil Warnock’s squad selections this term.

Connolly had a spell at on loan Portsmouth earlier in the season, and he will now return to League One in a loan deal that will see him remain at Deepdale until the end of April.

The right-back was signed by Simon Grayson in the summer of 2010 from Derby County and has made 64 appearances for the club, 30 of which came last season.
