Leeds United have completed the signing of Brentford midfielder Toumani Diagouraga.
The Yorkshire Evening Post understands that Diagouraga has agreed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Elland Road side.
Leeds moved swiftly on Friday to secure his signature. The player and his representatives were at Elland Road on Friday morning to discuss the terms of an agreement after Leeds had a bid accepted by Brentford.
It remains to be seen whether the deal was agreed prior to the 12pm deadline which would have allowed Leeds to field their new signing against Bristol City on Saturday.
Scottish Championship side Rangers were also interested in singing the 28-year-old midfielder, but the Whites stole a march on the Gers.
