Leeds United fans rejoice! The Yorkshire Evening Post’s football app is back, better than ever and completely free!

With the start of this year’s football season just days away, we have played a blinder with our new, improved footy app offering a great local football experience, especially for the Elland Road faithful!

There will be live match-day text commentary and results available across all main British divisions, leagues and competitions including the Premier League, Football League and Scottish Premier League.

Fans will also be able to get the latest league tables, fixtures, bookings, team line-ups and squad information at the touch of a button, plus live Twitter updates from newspaper reporters, players, clubs and other supporters.

The app, which proved a winner with fans last season, has been upgraded to operate on the latest iOS, as well as the latest Android operating system.

Sports Editor, Matt Reeder, said: “The app is subscription free and offers a great way to stay up-to-date with all the latest football news, views and scores - boasting in-depth coverage of Leeds United and beyond. This year we’ve made the app even more engaging and far easier to navigate. It’s a must for fans of our local teams - wherever they are!”

The new football app is available now in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Click on the links below to download for free.
