Stephen Ireland (hamstring), Geoff Cameron (ankle) and Phil Bardsley (groin) are doubts, while Shay Given (knee) remains sidelined.

Provisional squad: Butland, Haugaard, Shawcross, Wollscheid, Wilson, Muniesa, Johnson, Pieters, Bardsley, Cameron, Whelan, Van Ginkel, Adam, Sidwell, Ireland, Arnautovic, Afellay, Bojan, Shaqiri, Walters, Diouf, Joselu, Crouch, Odemwingie.
