Arsene Wenger is expected to recall Petr Cech for Sunday’s Premier League visit of Crystal Palace having retained David Ospina in last week’s 3-3 draw at West Ham.

The manager said he is yet to take a decision on which goalkeeper he will select, but could also consider recalling Per Mertesacker given Palace’s aerial threat and that he acknowledged that weakness to his team at West Ham.

Aaron Ramsey came on as a substitute and is also in contention to start, but Jack Wilshere (leg) and Tomas Rosicky (thigh) are not yet ready despite featuring for the under-21s. Santi Cazorla (Achilles) and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (knee) remain unfit.

Provisional squad: Ospina, Cech, Macey, Monreal, Gibbs, Gabriel, Chambers, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Bellerin, Elneny, Ramsey, Flamini, Ozil, Reine-Adelaide, Iwobi, Sanchez, Campbell, Walcott, Welbeck, Giroud.
