Arsenal v Watford: Latest FA Cup team news

Arsene Wenger is hopeful of having defensive duo Gabriel and Per Mertesacker available for Arsenal’s FA Cup quarter-final clash with Watford on Sunday.

Both were forced off in Tuesday’s replay at Hull but look to have recovered from eye and hamstring problems, while fellow centre-back Laurent Koscielny (calf) could also be involved.

Aaron Ramsey (thigh) is out and could face a month on the sidelines, while Jack Wilshere (leg), Tomas Rosicky (thigh), Petr Cech (calf), Santi Cazorla and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (both knee) are all still missing.

Provisional squad: Ospina, Macey, Monreal, Gibbs, Gabriel, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Bellerin, Chambers, Elneny, Flamini, Ozil, Reine-Adelaide, Gnabry, Iwobi, Sanchez, Campbell, Walcott, Welbeck, Giroud.
