Cross Gates Lions: Team celebrates anniversary
Cross Gates Lions FC have just celebrated their fifth anniversary since their formation in 2003.
Coach, Mark Elwen, said: " It has been hard work but worth it. Over the years nearly 80 children have been coached and played with us."
The team started its first season at Under 10 and will be entering the Leeds and District League next season at Under 15.
Mark added: " Some of the players have been with us since day one, when they were eight or nine years old. It has been very rewarding to see them develop as players and as individuals."
