A YORKSHIRE second XI will take on a Professional Cricketers' Association Masters XI on Thursday, July 9 at Abbeydale Sports Club in Sheffield, from 2pm.
Staged for the Sheffield Cricket Lovers' Society Northend Charity Cricket Day, admission is free, with lunch and dinner featuring speakers Mike Farrell and Rodney Hogg available at 27 per head.
The Masters XI is set to feature several former Test and County players.
Also featuring the Woodhouse Brass Band, proceeds will be split between Neurocare – trying to find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease among other conditions – and the Professional Cricketers' Association Benevolent Fund.
