Colton Juniors put best foot forward to raise cash for charity
More than £500 has been raised for charity thanks to the fundraising efforts of young footballers from Colton Juniors.
The club undertook a sponsored walk around the local community which also included parents and managers.
A total of 150 has been raised for Teenage Cancer with 421 being donated to the children's ward at St James's Hospital.
Stewart Daniels, secretary of Colton Juniors said: "This is part of our way of thinking that we are not just a club who thinks about ourselves. We think about the community as a whole and try to give something back.
