Lee Bullock is hoping Bradford City give old boy Joe Colbeck an unhappy homecoming tomorrow.
Bradford-born Colbeck – now at Hereford – makes his first return to Valley Parade after leaving City in September 2009, with club captain Bullock admitting the winger may be ruing the day he left.
Bullock said: "Hopefully, he wouldn't have one of his good days, though he can have plenty more after Saturday!
"He gave his all here and I think it was a case of agents turning his head and he's gone and probably realised the grass isn't always greener.
"But when you make decisions you have to get on with it.
"But he's a player who, on his day, is a very good player. So hopefully, we can keep him quiet."
Tomorrow – weather permitting – is City's last home match before Christmas and Bullock anxious for an early Yuletide present at a critical stage of the season.
He said: "It's such an important time because the games come thick and fast.
" If you can get three of four wins in such a short space of time, it does wonders for morale, confidence and your league position."
