Boss Lee issues warning after Terriers rout
HUDDERSFIELD boss Lee Clark joined Town fans in revelling in another goal fest, a six hit that took his side's tally in the last four Galpharm games to 20, but also urged caution.
"Expectation levels are high and rising because of the amount of goals we score, and you enjoy things like that when you can," said Clark, who was delighted with another clean sheet and a 6-0 thrashing of Wycombe
"But we know, of course, that's not going to be the case all the time."
Town overran struggling Wanderers, causing their manager Gary Waddock the "most embarrassing experience of my managerial career", and could have reached double figures for the second home game running.
Keeper Jamie Young was beaten six times but not once by Town's 13-goal top marksman Jordan Rhodes, who could have had a hat-trick.
And sub Theo Robinson only added to his eight goals via a penalty, when regular taker Gary Roberts stepped aside.
Centre-back Peter Clarke struck twice to join Roberts, Anthony Pilkington, Michael Duberry (og) and Robinson on target.
