Sports writer Leon Wobschall rates how Leeds United's players performed against Leyton Orient last night.
Casper Ankergren: United's goalkeeper had to be alert and right on his mettle in the first period of play, although not overly tested, if truth be told, despite the visitors' dominance...6/10

Leigh Bromby: Had his hands full with livewire Townsend in the first half, with the O's raider having some joy. But the versatile defender stuck at it and kept the winger more in check on the restart...6/10

Patrick Kisnorbo: Handed a more difficult night than he could have imagined against the Londoners. Excelled as you'd expect with the physical stuff and made one telling first-half block...6/10

Lubomir Michalik: Had a testing night at times and overcooked many passes towards the frontline, which drifted way too long. Poor distribution...5/10

Andrew Hughes: Evening cut short by a groin problem. Kept busy at the back with Smith a lively customer and defensive duties ensured he rarely ventured over the half-way line...6/10

Jonathan Howson: Started on the right and eventually tucked inside to give the centre-midfielders help as the O's started to dominate. Not his greatest game, but kept at it...6/10

Michael Doyle: Both he and Neil Kilkenny were largely put in the shade by the Orient trio of Summerfield, Thornton and Chambers, but his overall work-rate could not be faulted...6/10

Neil Kilkenny: Conditions weren't the finest for ball-playing midfielders such as Kilkenny, but put in a shift for the team, without the attacking verve of Saturday...6/10

Robert Snodgrass: Not one of the Scottish ace's finest days and produced some uncharacteristic mistakes in possession, although the windy conditions weren't exactly up his street...5/10
Sam Vokes: Spurned United's best first-half chance by a country mile and definitely in need of a goal in front of the home faithful. Worked hard enough, but lacked a spark...5/10

Jermaine Beckford: An ultimately quiet game for United's top-scorer, who was pretty much kept under lock and key by impressive Tamika Mkandwire for most of proceedings.6/10

Substitutes:
Aidan White (for Hughes 47)...7/10

Max Gradel (for Sam Vokes 62)...8/10

Mike Grella (for Howson 81)...6/10
Not used: Alan Martin (gk), David Prutton, Andrew Robinson, Davide Somma.
