Langley: Derby is so tough to call

Bradford skipper Jamie Langley believes the form book will go out of the window when Bulls square up to Leeds Rhinos at Headingley Carnegie tomorrow.
The derby is a repeat of the 2004 and 2005 Grand Finals, but the two arch-rivals have been wracked by injuries in recent weeks and both teams will go into tomorrow's game on the back of a defeat.
Bulls have already lost more games than in any other Super League season, while Leeds have been beaten in four of their last seven league fixtures – but Langley believes tomorrow's showdown will bring the best out of everybody involved.
"It is always tough going to Leeds, regardless of what form both sides are in," said the Bulls loose-forward.
"The form book goes out the window. We aren't looking at current form, we are just concentrating on ourselves and what we can do.
"It is still one of the highlights of the season, especially going to Headingley.
"It is always a great atmosphere, the fans get behind both sides and they are cracking games to play in.
"In the modern era we tend to play each other more times than we'd like and that takes a bit of polish off it, but they are great games and ones you look forward to."
Bulls are desperate to avoid a fourth defeat of the season to their fiercest rivals.
Leeds won 44-2 at Headingley in March, 40-26 in May's Millennium Magic fixture and 30-14 at Grattan Stadium, Odsal, later that month.
Langley said: "The first halfs have been close, but in the second half they've tended to run away with it.
"That's something we are looking at putting right this time around. We are under no illusions, we know how tough it is going to be and it should be a cracking game."
Rhinos will move level on points with Super League leaders St Helens if they win, but Bulls need a victory to strengthen their hold on the sixth and final play-off spot.
Langley admitted failing to make the play-offs would be unthinkable for a club who reached five successive Grand Finals from 2001to 2005.
"It's really tight at the moment," said Langley. "There's a few teams scrapping away and we need every point we can get.
"We have been under a bit of adversity with injuries and our form's not great, but we've got to put all that behind us and look forward to finishing the season strongly.
"We have got to keep winning. If we don't make the play-offs it'll be gut-wrenching, but we have got to keep faith in ourselves and in our ability to get sixth spot."
Sam Burgess, Tame Tupou and Glenn Morrison have all been ruled out for the season, but Langley insisted injuries aren't an excuse.
"That's the game, it's what happens," he said. "That's why you have a big squad.
"The injuries have affected us, but we can't use that as an excuse.
"Our form hasn't been great all season and that's something we've got to put right."
Brent Webb returns from a back injury to take his place in Rhinos'
19-man squad for tomorrow night's derby, with Scott Donald also back after being on paternity leave for the Warrington game.
Squad: Ablett, Anselme, Burgess, Burrow, Diskin, Donald, Ellis, Jones-Bishop, Kirke, Leuluai, McGuire, Peacock, Senior, Sinfield, Scruton, Smith, Tansey, Webb, Worrall.
Rhinos' reserves face Bulls in a curtain-raiser tomorrow (5.45pm).
