LEEDS model Nell McAndrew has signed up to be a judge for a young people's nature photography contest.
Nell will be a celebrity judge for the Triple Velvet-sponsored competition which aims to encourage children's interest in nature and the environment.

For every entry received toilet tissue maker Triple Velvet will plant a tree to support the charity Trees for Cities.

Nell said: "Triple Velvet's photography competition is a fantastic way of encouraging children to get closer to nature. This fun competition means they can not only win some great prizes, but also develop their photography skills and learn more about animals, habitats and conservation at the same time. I'm looking forward to seeing the entries"

Three winners, aged four to 16 years will receive prizes including a digital camera and digital photo printer.

One grand prize winner will be selected as the Triple Velvet Young Nature Photographer of the Year 2008 and will also win a family Center Parcs weekend.

The judging will take place at the end of September and the closing date for entries is September 15.

Competition details can be found at www.velvetbabymd.co.uk/forest.
