Opera in the Park will return to a more classical theme this year, featuring performances by award-winning soloists Alfie Boe and Natasha Marsh together with the universally renowned Hallé Symphony Orchestra and the Leeds Festival Chorus, led by conductor David Parry.

The ticket launch will also include fairground rides and refreshments, while Radio Aire will be broadcasting live from the event.
The YEP is currently looking for a local band to perform live at Party in the Park, as part of our fantastic new talent search, Party Idols.
Groups are asked to send videos of themselves singing one of four classic pop tracks - and the winner will open the show on July 26.
