LEEDS'S award-winning star Corinne Bailey Rae was back behind the mic for the first time since the funeral of her husband.
The widowed singer, who lives in Hyde Park, Leeds, took to the stage at Limetree Festival in North Yorkshire for the last 20 minutes of The Soul Daddies set on Saturday night in what is believed to be her first public performance since her husband's funeral in April.

Organiser Sean Birdsall said Corinne decided to attend after reading about the event in the Yorkshire Evening Post, which explained how the stage showcasing up-and-coming Leeds bands had been named the Jason Rae Stage as a tribute to her musician husband who died of a suspected drug overdose in a Hyde Park flat in March.

Corinne sang backing vocals on the main stage.
