Brian Laws has ended speculation over his future by signing a new contract committing himself to Sheffield Wednesday until 2011.

The Owls manager has been linked with numerous other clubs in recent weeks but said: "My ambition when I took this job was to take Sheffield Wednesday back to the Premier League and that is still something that drives me on.


Bradford City are poised to sign Burnely winger Steve Jones on loan until January.
