THE SUN: Frank Lampard has given Chelsea a contract ultimatum and told them: 'Sort my future out now!' The England midfielder finally ran out of patience following a series of broken promises by the club over a new deal. He revealed: "I've been approached by the club a few times saying they are going to come to me with an offer but they haven't followed it up. If we get to the summer and still nothing happens, I'll be down to the last year of my contract. And that is not a position I want to be in." Lampard, 29, openly admits he is growing frustrated at the Blues' reluctance to negotiate an upgrade on his existing £100,000-a-week deal until the end of the season. And with the England midfielder in limbo, Ronaldinho has issued an invitation for Lampard to quit Stamford Bridge and join the stellar cast at the Nou Camp. Sportsmail understands that billionaire owner Mike Ashley is concerned about Keegan's apparent inability to guide his side clear of relegation danger and is prepared to make his second change of manager. Newcastle have taken just two points from the eight League matches they have played since Keegan's return and have fallen dramatically down the table. Also: Everton captain Phil Neville has warned that English teams will continue to be undone by penalty shoot-outs until they get mentally tougher.
DAILY EXPRESS: Arsenal's bid to conquer Europe for first time has received the endorsement of no less an authority than Italian World Cup-winning manager Marcello Lippi. The man who scaled the highest summit of the global game in 2006 and lifted the European Cup with Juventus in 1996, believes it would be a victory for football if Arsene Wenger's side could follow suit. Rob Andrew, the director of elite rugby at the Rugby Football Union (RFU), insisted that there will be no "kneejerk reaction" to another hugely disappointing RBS Six Nations Championship campaign and that a change in leadership before the two internationals against New Zealand in June is "not something I would consider at this point".
DAILY TELEGRAPH: Frank Lampard has called for a conclusion on his new contract talks at Stamford Bridge but, despite scoring four goals for Chelsea on Wednesday night, the England midfielder will have to wait until the summer to confirm his future.
