Castleford Tigers have been set a target of winning at least three of their six remaining engage Super League fixtures – beginning at Harlequins tomorrow.
Rock-bottom Tigers have won only four of their 21 league games so far and while boss Terry Matterson still harbours hopes of avoiding the wooden spoon, he admits his side have a mountain to climb.

"We are hoping to get off the bottom of the table," said Matterson, whose team were crushed 68-12 at St Helens last weekend.

"That was probably made a bit more difficult last week, with Hull winning. Realistically, we have got six games to go and we've got to win three of them, because of the points for and against.

"It is going to be really tough, but we approach each game trying to win.

"We have got to put last week's game behind us and go down to Harlequins and try and get a performance.

"That's still the key, to get our performance back. Before last week we had three pretty good performances on the trot.

"We would still like to get off the bottom, but it will be pretty hard now."

Hooker Chad Randall and stand-off Scott Hill are the Quins players Tigers have to stop, Matterson believes.

"We've got to keep them from scoring points," he said. "They are a team that can put points on you. The hooker, Chad Randall, is a massive player for them. Our ruck defence last week was terrible and if we defend like that again, he will have a ball.

"With Scott Hill in their side as well, that's two massive players for them.

"Hill makes a massive difference to them. He can be rocks and diamonds, he can make a lot of mistakes so we have got to put some pressure on him and Chad Randall."

Craig Huby and co-captain Awen Guttenbeil both return to the squad for tomorrow's match. Huby missed the last two games with a shoulder problem, while Guttenbeil has sat out the last five matches with a leg problem.
