ENGAGE Super League champions Leeds Rhinos will play Hull at Headingley Carnegie in a testimonial game for England forward Jamie Jones-Buchanan, pictured right.
Hull will visit Leeds on Monday, January 26 (7.30pm) in the major event of Jones-Buchanan's benefit campaign.

Jones-Buchahan, 27, signed for Rhinos in 1997 and made his senior debut two years later.

A series of injury problems restricted him to
just six appearances, all off the bench, in his first three years in the senior squad, but he forced his way into then-coach Daryl Powell's regular 17 in 2002 and has been a key member of the team ever since, earning Grand Final winner's rings in 2004, 2007 and this year.

Jones-Buchanan, who began his career with the Stanningley amateur club and has also had a spell on Rhinos' Academy coaching staff, said he was "deeply honoured" to have been awarded a testimonial.

He added: "To follow in the footsteps of guys like Franny Cummins, Barrie McDermott and Kev Sinfield is a dream come true and I am really excited about the whole year.

"I would like to thank (coach) Richard Agar and Hull for agreeing to play in the testimonial game.

"I know from personal experience that pre-season games are a precious thing and I am delighted that they agreed to give one of theirs to me.

"There are number of ex-Leeds boys in the Hull team as well, so that will make it even more special."

* Tickets for Jones-Buchanan's benefit game will go on sale at 9am on November 24, with all proceeds going to the player's testimonial fund.

Adult admission prices have been cut to £15 for seats and £10 standing. Concession prices – for juniors aged 15 and under, students with a valid student card, under-21s and senior citizens aged 65 and over – are £10 for seats and £5 in all standing areas. There is a £1.50 fee for credit/debit card bookings.

Rhinos today also confirmed they will take on Hunslet Hawks at South Leeds Stadium in the annual pre-season Lazenby Cup clash on Sunday, February 1 (3pm).

They also face Wakefield Wildcats at Headingley in the annual Cravendale Festive Challenge on Boxing Day (11.30am) and Salford City Reds in Florida, on January 17.
