IT'S good to be back. After three months out injured, it was a big relief to get out on the field against Wigan last week.
I was getting sick of training and not playing.
I've been in the 19 a couple of times and I nearly came in one weekend, but I actually re-fractured the bone in my foot, so that wasn't too good.
It set me back a bit, but I am back now, it's all
sweet and I'm flying.
The foot's still playing up a bit and I will probably need an operation at the end of the year, but I am able to get away with it at the moment, so I'll keep going until it's fully gone.
It's a good time to come back, because it's the business end now and that's what you play footy for.
The semis are just around the corner, so hopefully we can get a couple of wins and that'll get us in there.
For me personally, Sunday's game wasn't the best. I was a bit rusty, but that will come in time. I just have to keep plugging away, keep training and I'll see how it goes.
But the team performance was really good.
We clicked a bit. We blew a few chances and if we can fix that up, we'll go a long way towards winning more games.
We've got two left in the regular season – Harlequins away and Celtic at home – and we've got to win them both. That's important leading into the semis.
You don't want to have a loss before the play-offs, but if we can get two good performances in we'll put our best foot forward and see what happens after that.
We set a goal at the start of the year to be in the top eight and that would be a good achievement, considering where we've come from.
I was pretty disappointed last year, I thought we were a lot better than where we came. But this year has been a total turnaround and hopefully we can get into the semis and do well and keep getting stronger for next season.
After so long out, it's a bit frustrating not to have a game this weekend.
It is a long season and a week off doesn't hurt, but I'd rather be playing, especially at Wembley.
It would be great to play there, but we'll take the weekend off, get recharged a bit and come out firing for the Harlequins game next week.
I'll be watching the cup final on Saturday, probably a few of the boys will get together and have a feed and watch the game.
I don't know who's going to win, it could go either way. Whoever turns up on the day will go away with the goods.
It's good to have two different teams in the final. It's not fun if you watch the same team winning it year after year.
I've got to hand it to Saints, they have been a great side and they deserved their wins, but it's exciting for the fans to have someone different there.
I'm sure both teams will put a great spectacle on.
