Champions Leeds Rhinos kept alive their hopes of finishing top of engage Super League with a sparkling 52-16 win over Wigan Warriors at JJB Stadium on Friday night.
Rhinos' first win in six league meetings with Wigan saw them go level on points with St Helens, who play their game in hand at Huddersfield on Sunday.

Leeds ran in nine tries, despite going behind to a controversial Mark Calderwood try after just seven minutes.

Brent Webb's try – and the first of Kevin Sinfield's eight goals – drew Leeds level on 22 minutes and they went in front moments later when Luke Burgess touched down Danny McGuire's grubber kick.

Cameron Phelps pulled a try back for Wigan on the half hour, but Lee Smith scooped up a loose ball to race over three minutes later and Kylie Leuluai's try on the stroke of half-time, from Sinfield's pass, made it 24-10.

Webb went over for his second try a minute into the second-half and Ali Lauitiiti and Keith Senior crossed to make it 42-10 after 52 minutes.

Eamon O'Carroll scored a consolation try for Warriors, with Phelps adding his second goal.

But Lee Smith's second touchdown and a try for teenage substitute Kallum Watkins completed Leeds' biggest ever score away to Wigan.
