Hard-working second-row Dale Potter scored a hat-trick as Sharlston Rovers trounced an inexperienced Elland side 52-2 in the Tetley's Yorkshire Cup second round.
Sharlston wasted no time in building a hefty 30-2 lead by half-time with tries by Phil Hodgson, Gareth Davis, Tom Wandless, Damien Thomas and the first of Potter's efforts, all converted by Chris Hill.
Elland's only points came from a third-minute
penalty by Phillip Taylor.
Two tries by Carl Saville and two more by Potter, plus conversions by Hill, Davis and Craig Miles proved nails in the coffin.
Sharlston have been drawn at home to St Joseph's in the third round, to be played on October 4.
Drighlington will play Methley Royals that weekend after beating fellow Pennine League side Westgate Wolves 52-10.
Tries from Adam Newton, Nathan Larvin, Andy Jarrett, Dave Patterston and Glen Pennington, plus four goals by Michael Sanderson gave them a 28-6 lead by half-time.
Craig Taylor hit back with a try for Westgate and Matty Woods converted.
The second half was one-way traffic again with Lee Mulhearn, Luke Pennington and Sanderson all scoring and Newton adding his second. Sanderson landed four more goals.
Carl Riley went over for Westgate but it was an easy victory for Drighlington.
Elsewhere, Methley beat Wibsey Warriors 32-20, while Queens beat Keighley Albion 52-10.
Ackworth Jaguars defeated Birstall Victoria 32-16, but Ossett Trinity lost 16-26 to Birkenshaw.
In the Yorkshire League, Crofton Cougars made a late charge to earn an exciting 34-34 draw at home to Hunslet Warriors A in Division One.
Crofton trailed 26-34 until Shaun Brierley and Steve Holt touched down and they may have snatched the win but neither was converted.
Crofton's other tries fell to Shaun Markey (2), Chris Storey (2) and Lee Garside while Craig Hutchinson added three goals.
Carl Johnson (2), Mark Canning, Jamie Purnell, Chris Hartley and Steve Duckworth went in for Hunslet's tries and Carl Featherstone landed five goals.
It was a battle of the All Blacks in the Pennine League Premier Division when Crigglestone AB took on New Earswick AB for the second week in a row,but they again lost, this time 28-18.
Crigglestone tried to stay in the hunt with tries by Matthew West and Martin Tilford, while Tommy Malyan kicked three goals and Damien Horsley two.
