MILFORD MARLINS won 40-24 to hand Thornhill Trojans their first defeat in the National Conference summer league.
Milford had the game won in the first 30 minutes, racing into a 22-0 lead thanks to tries by Andy Barker, Sam Teesdale, Ryan Oxtoby and Sean Mulligan, and three Martin Loveridge conversions.
Trojans cut the gap to 10 points at the break after Anthony Harris crossed, then former Dewsbury Rams full-back George Mack – who had an impressive game – touched down and added his second conversion.
Milford regained control through tries by Mulligan and Joey French, Loveridge improving both and adding a penalty.
Jake Ratcliffe and Danny Taylor scored late tries for Trojans, Ryan Fenton adding two goals, but it wasn't enough to earn them a bonus point.
Elsewhere, Adrian Holdsworth scored four tries in Oulton Raiders' 56-12 win at Eastmoor Dragons.
Rob Charlton crossed for a hat-trick and other tryscorers were Jamie Fields, Lewis Fletcher and Chris Strong. Strong landed six goals and Fields added two more.
