Batley boosted their chances of escaping relegation with a 12-try spree.
Speedy winger Johnny Campbell grabbed four tries as the Bulldogs continued their revival with their third win in four matches to move four points clear of second-bottom Gateshead.
Stand-off Paul Handforth, one of eight players to have recently lef
t cash-strapped Doncaster, was involved in most of Batley's best work in a match played at Featherstone's Chris Moyles Stadium because of repair work on Doncaster's Keepmoat Stadium pitch.
Handforth tormented his former club while his half-back partner Paul Mennell piled on the misery for basement side Doncaster by landing 11 goals from 12 kicks.
Cash-strapped Doncaster competed well in the first half and were only 22-0 down at half-time but the floodgates opened in the second period.
They were outmuscled and outplayed by the Bulldogs who showed excellent finishing to run in eight second-half tries.
Batley coach Karl Harrison was delighted with his side's performance.
"It was superb and I thought we were pretty clinical," he said. "We were a bit soft early on but once we scored our first try and settled down the boys were fantastic.
"There is no talk of relegation in our camp – the only talk is about play-off positions. The guys are working extremely hard.
"Paul Handforth is an extremely gifted half-back and understands the game, but he can only be as good as his forwards allow him to be and at the moment our front rowers are making it easier for him."
Play was held up for seven minutes when Bulldogs second-row Chris Buttery was concussed in the first minute and stretchered off but he returned to the dugout later in the first half.
Both sides made numerous errors in a scrappy opening before Batley went ahead in the 16th minute when Handforth and Mennell put in John Gallagher.
With Handforth pulling the strings, Batley began to take control and increased their lead when Craig Potter powered over. Handforth, Ashley Lindsay and Mark Barlow then set up Campbell's first try before Handforth cleverly sent in Mark Barlow.
Doncaster's frail defence was ripped apart in the second-half as Batley cut loose.
Campbell sparked the points spree with his second try after swift crossfield passing by Kris Lythe, Mennell and Handforth.
Jermaine McGilvary latched onto a loose ball to collect a 70-metre try before Campbell showed electrifying pace by grabbing two tries in five minutes, including a spectacular 75-metre effort.
Handforth darted over himself and then created the openings for full-back Ian Preece to cross twice in two minutes.
Doncaster finally got a look in when Garry Ellery scored a 76th minute try that Josh Weeden converted but the Bulldogs had the final say when Handforth put in Gareth Greenwood.
