Ossett Town spurned the chance of moving up to mid-table in the UniBond Premier following a hefty 5-2 loss at lowly Whitby Town.
Tom Greaves netted a brace for Town, with Danny Brunskill, Stephen Huggins, Tom Raw, Karl Charlton and Richard Forster on target for the Seasiders.

FC Halifax Town recorded a 3-1 FA Cup extra-preliminary round success at Silsden, courtesy of goals from Ashley Stott (2) – including a penalty – and Jonathan Smith. Daniel Moriarty replied.

First-half goals from Chris Coy and Martin Brissett – and a James Ellis own goal – saw Thackley triumph 3-0 in the NCEL Premier at Maltby. Matty Howgate and Chris Harkin struck as Tadcaster won 2-0 at AFC Emley in the Wilkinson Sword Trophy.
