YORK face another tall order at home to Cambridge tomorrow but boss Colin Walker hopes last weekend's heroics will kick-start City's season.

The Minstermen were 2-0 down at form side Stevenage but fought back to lead 3-2 with goals from Onome Sodje, loanee Peter Holmes and Craig Farrell.

The home side eventually sealed a 3-3 draw through yet another Steve Morison strike but Walker was delighted with his side's comeback and has considerable confidence for Cambridge tomorrow (3pm).

"I thought the reaction of the players was absolutely magnificent," said Walker. "We scored three magnificent goals and hopefully it kick-starts our season.

"Cambridge will be one of the teams fancied to go up.

"They will be there or thereabouts but hopefully our players can kick on and be ready for it."

York must cope without in-form striker Sodje who pulled a hamstring last weekend but Walker hopes the likes of Daniel McBreen and Richard Brodie grasp their opportunity with both hands.
