Whitby Town have snapped up ex-Leeds United and York City midfielder Mark Tinkler.
The vastly-experienced 32-year-old, who has also had spells at Hartlepool and Scottish Premier League side Livingston, joined up with ex-Whites team-mate Tony Hackworth, who has also signed up with the Seasiders for next season.

Joint boss Phil Brumwell said: "I played in the same side as Mark at school and in a district side and he was the best player around for his age. He has also played a high level of Premier League games.

"He has been at Livingston for the past year but was interested in getting into the English non-league. Mark is top drawer and I am absolutely ecstatic about signing him."
