THE magic of the FA Cup is gripping Nostell Miners Welfare who aim to pocket £1,500 and progression to the first qualifying round tonight.
Nostell entertain Warrington Town in a preliminary round replay tonight (kick-off 7.45pm) following Saturday's 0-0 draw.

Warrington sit a division above Nostell in the UniBond League but chairman Granville Marshall is adamant his NCE League side should have won the original tie after squandering two one-on-ones.

Now Marshall hopes Nostell can put Warrington out – and bank a tidy cash sum in the process.

"That would be nice and this is the first time we've been in the FA Cup," said Marshall.

"It's quite exciting really and if we win we go away to Winterton Rangers who won our championship last year. I don't know about after that but I'm getting a bit ambitious here!"

Bridlington Town are also in FA Cup action tonight at home to Jarrow Roofing Boldon CA while Scarborough Athletic visit Askern Villa in the first round of the NCE League Wilkinson Sword Trophy.

Elsewhere, Liversedge will go top with victory at Eccleshill United in the Premier Division while Pontefract Collieries entertain winless Glasshoughton Welfare in Division One, all 7.45pm kick-offs.
