Northern Counties East League outfit Tadcaster Albion have appointed former Harrogate Railway, Goole AFC and Bridlington Town boss Paul Marshall as the new manager at Ings Lane, writesLeon Wobschall.
Marshall takes over the Division One side following the dismissal of Jimmy Reid earlier this month.

The Brewers, having finished in the bottom six last season, are looking for a much-improved 2008-09 following a desperately disappointing last 12 months and have identified Marshall as the man to orchestrate their renaissance.

Marshall famously took Rail to the second round of the FA Cup back in 2002, when they lost out to Bristol City in front of the Sky cameras at Station View – although they did have the consolation of picking up £100,000 for their efforts.

Marshall, a former Harrogate Town player, quit Rail the following year after a row with the club's board over FA Cup bonus payments and had subsequent spells at Goole and Bridlington Town.
