Guiseley's early advantage at the top of the UniBond League Premier Division is now down to goal difference only after they were held 1-1 by Matlock yesterday.
Steve Kittrick's men needed a 58th-minute equaliser from Steve Burton to ensure a point at Nethermoor.

Bradford Park Avenue also drew 1-1, Steve Connors getting their counter against Worksop at the Horsfall Stadium. Ossett Town went down 2-0 at home to Leigh Genesis, Whitby were edged out 3-2 by Kendal at the Turnbull Ground and Frickley lost 1-0 at Ilkeston.

Goole also went down, 2-1 at home to Retford in First Division South, while, in First Division North, Garforth were hammered 6-1 at Newcastle Blue Star and Harrogate Railway remain in the bottom two after losing 3-1 at home to Mossley.

But FC Halifax picked up a point from a goalless draw with Durham City and the game between Wakefield and Ossett Albion finished 2-2.
