Farsley Celtic have made their first new signing ahead of their first season back in Conference North following relegation, recruiting 23-year-old midfielder Tom Penford from Bradford City.
Penford, who was released by Stuart McCall at the end of last season, made 16 appearances for the Bantams' first team in 2007-8.

But striker Damien Reeves has left Celtic in order to stay in the Conference with Histon.

Celtic have also announced two pretige friendlies.

Former boss Lee Sinnott will bring his Port Vale side to Throstle Nest on Tuesday, July 8. Lincoln City will then visit on Saturday, July 26.
