TITLE favourites Bradford Park Avenue maintained their scintillating opening to the UniBond League Premier Division season with a 4-0 blitzing of hosts Matlock.
Scores for joint-leaders Avenue – who recorded their second 4-0 win on the spin – were Steven Connors, Carl Ruffer, Chris Hall and Mark Bett.

Elsewhere, Frickley claimed home comforts with a narrow 1-0 victory over visiting Whitby, courtesy of Lee Morris' 50th-minute strike.

Tonight, Ossett Town visit Boston United, while Guiseley also head east to North Ferriby.

In First Division North, Ossett Albion lead the way with two wins from two games following a 2-1 success over Newcastle Blue Star at Dimple Wells. Gareth Hamlett and Shane Kelsey got the goals.

A seven-goal thriller saw Garforth Town edged out 4-3 by Clitheroe. Duncan Williams, Lee Connor and Dominic Blair netted in vain.

A goal eight minutes from time from Steven Richardson saw Wakefield FC narrowly lose out 1-0 at Durham.

A 90th-minute leveller denied Harrogate Railway, who drew 2-2 at Rossendale. First-half scorers for Rail were Ryan Haigh and Dean Walters. And Goole drew 3-3 with Lincoln in First Division South.
